Volunteered to travel to Langley VA for the first half of the week for the time being to work with a group called Visual Information Initiative. They’re re-deploying their satellite image search and retrieval software into the C2S cloud and have asked for my assistance with a UI re-design that takes advantage of the faceted search capabilities provided by SOLR. This is going to be a huge improvement.
2nd place in the Annual Flying Scot Regatta at Saratoga Lake Sailing Club

Winds were super light for the whole weekend and they only just managed to get one race in to call it a regatta. Still, it was a great weekend hanging out with the other sailors and our second place finish was respectable. Nice that we could get 5 boats up there from MBC.
1st in class and 2nd in division it the 2014 Port Huron to Mackinac race
Great crew, race, boat, event, etc… Love sailing the Mackinac on my brother’s boat.
1st in class in the 2012 Port Huron to Mackinac race
A neck and neck drag race with the boat Liberty the whole way up, crossing the finish line just a few minutes ahead.
Then a disqualification.
Then the race committee reconsiders and gives us the win.
Got my patent plaque today!
Awarded in January of 2012. Something like 5-6 years after the application was filed. Proud to have been a part of this effort.

- Design and development of Flash based games that promoted the 1-800-CALL ATT product
- Design of HTML emails sent monthly to over 20,000 subscribers
- Responsible for designing online content for various other AT&T clients.
